NATSICC Councillor
Consisting of 5 Dioceses - Archdiocese of Brisbane, Cairns, Rockhampton, Toowoomba and Townsville Queensland is home to over 35,000 Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Catholics. According to the most recent census, almost 20% all Indigenous people in Queensland identify as Catholic.

David Miller joined the NATSICC Council in 2017 as the Queensland representative following the illness of Evelyn Parkin. As the QLD proxy, David and Evelyn worked closely in the previous year which allowed for a smooth transition. David is an Elder from Gangalu - Rockhampton, QLD and is very much involved in Church organisations and the Church community - particularly the Murri Ministry.
David has a strong passion for social justice and is also active in supporting Refugee families within his local Parish and the Archdiocese.
